When the Amazon merchant completes the e-commerce fulfilment process themselves it is referred to as Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM). Self-fulfilment takes a lot of effort, especially as the volume rises, however, it rarely costs anything up front. As an alternative, merchants often choose to combine FBM with third-party fulfilment (). This is when a logistics company, such as byrd, handles the entire fulfilment process on behalf of the retailer who sells products on Amazon.
Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP)
Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) is a fulfilment program offered through Amazon that allows online merchants to ship Prime orders directly to customers. Retailers fulfill the orders from their own warehouse or with the help of a 3PL provider like byrd. When Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime requirements are met, the SFP program can also help online merchants' listings gain visibility by displaying the Prime badge. byrd currently does not offer a solution for Amazon SFP.
