Acceptance of goods and storage

The byrd fulfillment network has warehouses in Austria and Germany with many thousands of pallets and shelf storages. Currently the storage of goods is possible at both locations in Vienna or Berlin. The number of storage locations can be increased or decreased on a monthly basis. We have neither minimum quantities nor standardised contract periods.

The stock can be viewed and tracked in real time via the byrd Web App and can be automatically synchronized with the online shop. The invoicing of the storage locations takes place on a monthly basis.

The receipt of goods and storage of deliveries is usually carried out including a quantitative control.

Pick and Pack

Our packaging experts in the respective warehouses ensure the best possible shipping conditions thanks to high-quality materials and regular training.

The packaging process consists of two steps. First, all products in a shipment are picked and then packed according to specific customer requirements.

Packaging material includes:

  • Boxes
  • Filling material
  • Tape

Labor includes:

  • Preparation of the workplace + packaging
  • Professional packaging of goods (inside & outside)
  • Enclosure of invoices / delivery notes
  • Attachment of the shipping label
  • Attachment of documents for customs clearance

In addition to safe transport packaging, we also offer individual branding options. This includes, for example, the use of the individual packing tape, self-chosen stickers, flyers or tissue paper. These materials are provided by the customer and are individually clarified before the first order. This service is subject to a branding fee per parcel.

Flexible shipping with familiar shipping service providers

We ship parcels worldwide, working with various logistics partners to offer you the smartest price for every shipment. Depending on the size, weight and destination of your shipment, we will select the most suitable shipping option for you.

If your online shop (e.g. Shopify) is integrated with our software, the data will be automatically transferred back to your web shop during shipping to inform the buyer about the shipment and to enable shipment tracking.

Additional services

In addition, we offer individual services such as returns management, cash on delivery, shipping of oversized items, increased insurance, express shipping, etc.
